OUR CHILD PROTECTION POLICY: everyone who works with children at CFC is a vetted member of the church and has undergone a thorough background check. We have a zero-tolerance policy for anyone involved with our church's children (for more information see our Constitution & Bylaws)
Newborn - Toddlers:
We have a rotation of volunteers who minister to our newborns through 2 year olds while parents attend Sunday School, Worship Service on Sunday mornings, and Bible Study on Wednesday Nights. To see if we have nursery during a specific event check the event page. CFC has a new and improved Nursery area, modified specifically with the needs of our babies in mind.

Preschool:
Our Pre-K (2-5 years) is an exciting time to explore the works of our God through learning deep truths in the Word of God. This study time is relevant, fun, and interactive. This age group dismisses after the worship portion of our Sunday Service for Children’s Church, although you can decide to keep them with you for the sermon (we are a family-integrated church). Elementary:
Our 1st -5th graders meet to further develop their knowledge of the Bible and their understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. TEAM KID is a fun, high-energy discipleship ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and to grow in a relationship with Him. Structured time units of Bible study, Scripture memory, mission activities, life application, and recreation are woven together as the children move from one learning activity to the next. Our 1st – 5th graders stay with their parents/guardians during the sermon on Sundays. Check the times they meet below:

Expectations for those serving in CFC Kids Ministry:
If you are interested in serving in the Children’s Ministries area of our church, please read the following:
-This a ministry of commitment. If we are striving to teach our children the importance of being accountable, we too must show this in our zeal and dedication to the ministry.
-All workers and volunteers must be members of CFC and submit to a background check as well as adhere to our Child Protection Policy and our general Policies and Procedures.
-Be prepared to be a mentor and a role model to the children you teach. They look to us to lead them and they watch how we live our lives.

Children's DirectorCornerstone’s Children’s Ministries function under the leadership of Cassidy Bridges. She’s been involved with Children’s Ministry for over 6 years. She has a passion for leading Children to Christ and helping disciple them into who He calls them to be. The program is staffed by volunteers from within the church who have been vetted by the pastor/deacons personally as well as with a thorough background check according to our Child Protection Policy. |
